Virtualization & backup
Virtualization services and data backup in Chandigarh
A backup nobody has restored from is a hope, not a plan. We consolidate your servers onto a hypervisor, then test the restore in front of you every quarter.

What you get
The outcome you are buying
Restores that have been tested
We run a real restore to a spare virtual machine on a schedule, so you know the backup works before the day you need it.
Fewer boxes, less downtime
Consolidating ageing physical servers onto one hypervisor cuts your hardware failure points and lets you move a workload off a sick host in minutes.
A stated recovery time
You get an RPO and RTO in writing for each system, so the business knows what it is buying rather than assuming everything is instant.
A copy that is off-site
One backup copy kept away from your building, because a fire or a theft takes the on-site backup with the server.

Questions we get asked
Virtualization & backup: straight answers
How often should a backup be test-restored?
- Quarterly at minimum, and after any change to the servers being protected. A backup job reporting success only proves the job ran — a test restore is the only thing that proves the data comes back usable.
What is the difference between RPO and RTO?
- RPO is how much data you can afford to lose, measured in time; RTO is how long you can afford to be down. A nightly backup gives you an RPO of up to 24 hours. Both are business decisions, and they set what the solution costs.
Is one backup copy on a USB disk enough?
- No — it sits in the same room as the server, so a fire, flood or theft takes both. Keep at least one copy off-site or replicated to cloud, and keep one copy that ransomware cannot reach from your network.
Will virtualizing our servers need new hardware?
- Usually one properly sized host replaces three or four ageing servers, so it is a purchase, but a smaller one than replacing each machine. We measure your current load first and show what a single host has to carry.
