IP surveillance

CCTV installation in Chandigarh

A camera is only useful if the footage is admissible and someone can find it. We survey the site, choose lens and mounting for the shot you actually need, and hand over a system your staff can search.

IP surveillance work of the kind Hash delivers across the Tricity

What you get

The outcome you are buying

01

Coverage decided before drilling

A site survey fixes camera positions, lens angles and cable routes on a floor plan, so you are not paying to move a camera after it is mounted.

02

Footage you can retrieve

Retention set to the period you need for an insurance or police request, with search by time and channel your own staff are trained on.

03

Images that hold up

Lens and sensor picked for the actual light at that spot — gate, corridor, shop floor at night — so a face is identifiable and not a grey shape.

04

No brand lock-in

ONVIF-conformant designs, so a discontinued camera model in three years does not mean replacing the recorder too.

How it runs

Survey to handover

The sequence we follow, so you know what happens and when.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We walk the site, note light conditions and blind spots, and mark camera positions and cable routes on your floor plan.

  2. 02

    System design and quotation

You receive the camera schedule, lens choices, recorder sizing and the retention period each option buys you.

  3. 03

    Cabling and mounting

Cat6 is run and dressed, cameras are mounted, and PoE switching is installed in a lockable enclosure.

  4. 04

    Configuration and aiming

Each camera is focused and aimed against the survey, motion zones are set, and recording is verified channel by channel.

  5. 05

    Handover and training

Your staff are shown how to search, export and hand over footage, and receive a channel map and the admin credentials.

Questions we get asked

IP surveillance: straight answers

How many cameras does our site need?

Fewer than most quotations assume. Count the decisions you need footage to settle — who entered, who took it, what happened at the gate — and each becomes one well-placed camera. A site survey turns that list into a camera schedule.

How many days of footage can we keep?

Retention comes down to channel count, resolution and disk size, so it is a number you choose at design time. We quote the disk capacity for 15, 30 and 60 days and let you pick, rather than fixing it and hoping.

Can we view the cameras from a phone?

Yes, and it should be set up so that viewing does not expose the recorder to the open internet. We configure remote access behind the firewall with its own credentials, separate from the on-site admin login.

Do you work with one CCTV brand only?

No. We stay manufacturer-independent and design to ONVIF, so cameras and recorders from different makers work together and a discontinued model does not force a full replacement.

Which areas do you install in?

We install across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur, and travel further into North India for multi-site rollouts. Sector 40-C is our base, so most Tricity sites are a short drive for survey and service visits.
