IT support for factories in Mohali and Chandigarh

A stopped line costs more per hour than the whole IT budget for the month. We build the shop-floor network for dust, heat and distance, and keep your ERP and design files backed up off-site.

What makes this sector different

The pressure you are actually under

Buying decisions in this sector are driven by these, not by a feature comparison.

  1. 01

Downtime is measured against production output, so the cost of an hour offline is a number the owner already knows and it is rarely small.

  2. 02

Drawings, tooling data and costing sheets are the business, and they leave on pen drives and personal mail far more often than through any network attack.

  3. 03

Plant conditions destroy office-grade equipment: dust in switches, heat in unventilated panels, and cable runs far longer than a building was designed for.

Typical deployment

What we install for manufacturing

Concrete, not aspirational. This is the equipment list a site like yours ends up with.

  • Shop-floor networking in industrial enclosures, rated for dust and heat

  • Fibre backbone between office block, production sheds and stores

  • ERP and Tally servers with tested restores and off-site copies

  • Surveillance across gates, weighbridge, stores, dispatch and the line itself

  • DLP on design and drawing files, which are the asset competitors want

  • Site-to-site VPN linking a Chandigarh office to plants in Mohali or Baddi

Questions we get asked

Manufacturing: straight answers

Will normal network equipment survive a shop floor?

No, and this is where most factory networks fail. Office switches choke on dust and shut down in unventilated panels. Shop-floor segments need industrial-rated switches in sealed enclosures, with fibre for the long runs between sheds.

How do we stop drawings leaving the company?

With DLP rules on the machines that hold them, blocking copies to removable media, webmail and cloud uploads while still allowing the approved route to your customers. Attempts are logged, which matters as much as the block.

Can our Chandigarh office and Mohali plant share one system?

Yes, over a site-to-site VPN between the two firewalls. Both sites then run one internal network, so ERP, file shares and printing behave the same at either end without publishing anything to the internet.

How far can a network run between two sheds?

Copper stops being reliable past 90 metres, which most plants exceed between blocks. Beyond that we run fibre, which also removes the electrical noise and lightning risk that long copper runs pick up across an open yard.
