Network security

Network security company in Chandigarh

The firewall at your edge decides what reaches your staff. We configure it against your actual traffic, review the rules quarterly, and tell you which of them stopped something.

What you get

The outcome you are buying

01

Rules that match your business

Policies are written around your departments, shifts and applications, not left on the vendor's default allow-all with a password change.

02

Branch offices on one policy

Site-to-site VPN between your Chandigarh office and your Mohali or Baddi units, so one rule change applies everywhere.

03

A quarterly rule review

Stale permit rules are the way most breaches walk in. We remove the ones your leavers and retired servers left behind.

04

Evidence for your auditor

Logs, policy exports and change history kept in a form you can hand to a compliance auditor without a scramble.

Questions we get asked

Network security: straight answers

Our firewall came with the internet connection. Is that enough?

No — the router your ISP supplies does address translation, not inspection. It cannot see which application a packet belongs to, filter web categories, or stop a phishing attachment. Those need a firewall you own and configure.

How often should firewall rules be reviewed?

Quarterly, and immediately after anyone with remote access leaves. Rule bases accumulate: an allow rule written for a vendor's one-week project is still open three years later, and that is the door attackers find.

Can you connect our Chandigarh office to our Mohali plant securely?

Yes. A site-to-site VPN between the two firewalls gives both sites one internal network and one policy, so file shares and ERP work identically at either end without exposing anything to the public internet.

Which firewall brands do you work with?

We are manufacturer-independent, so the recommendation follows your user count, throughput and budget rather than a single vendor's line card. {{TBC: which firewall OEM authorisations does Hash hold — Sophos, Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto?}}
