Manufacturing · Mohali
A plant network and ERP server across three sheds in Mohali
A manufacturing unit in Mohali's industrial phases.

The problem
What the client was dealing with
Office-grade switches had been installed in unventilated panels on the shop floor and were failing every few months. The long copper runs between the office block and the two production sheds dropped whenever the weather turned. The ERP server sat under a desk with a backup nobody had ever restored from.
What we did
The work, in the order it happened
Every line below is something that was specified, installed and handed over.
- 01
Replaced the shop-floor switching with industrial-rated units in sealed, ventilated enclosures
- 02
Ran fibre between the office block and both sheds, removing the long copper runs and the electrical noise they were picking up across the yard
- 03
Moved the ERP workload onto a properly sized server in a lockable rack with UPS protection
- 04
Configured scheduled backup with an off-site copy, then ran a full test restore to a spare virtual machine in front of the plant manager
- 05
Set up a site-to-site VPN so the head office in Chandigarh works on the same internal network as the plant
- 06
Applied DLP rules to the machines holding drawings and costing sheets, blocking copies to removable media and personal mail
The outcome
What changed
TBC: the measurable outcome — switch failures before and after, network downtime hours saved per month, tested restore time, and whether the client will allow us to name them
We publish outcome figures only once the client has confirmed them and agreed to their use. Until then this stays marked rather than estimated.
Services involved
What this was built from
Networking & cabling
Bad cabling shows up years later as a fault nobody can trace. We label every run, document every port and leave you a rack you can work in without a torch.
Read moreServer & storage
We size the box to the workload, supply it, rack it and migrate your data over a weekend so Monday morning looks the same to your staff. Vendor-agnostic, so the recommendation follows the requirement rather than a quota.

A backup nobody has restored from is a hope, not a plan. We consolidate your servers onto a hypervisor, then test the restore in front of you every quarter.
